It Isn’t Even Over

Here are some snapshots from the past few days.  I’m sure there are plenty of other pictures out there, too!

I was awake at 2:30 am Saturday morning.  I decided to go outside to take some pictures at that point:

I was trying to capture how bright it is outside at night when it snows.  Seriously, there was so much light!  You can almost see it in the second picture.

When I woke up yesterday morning, I went out and took a picture of the backyard.  Of course it was still snowing.

Our bird bath is nearly buried!

Here is a picture taken after the snow had tapered off in the afternoon.

And then, this morning, I took a few pictures.

Look at the street! It's plowed!

Heh, heh, after I took that picture of the dogs above, Shirley (the taller Pomeranian) started freaking out – she kept looking for a way to get out of the space, but she couldn’t because she was being buried alive by the snow!  Poor doggie!

Thankfully, it is going to be a nice, bright day.  I was trying to explain to one of my co-workers about how we would rather have a colder, sunny day versus a warmer, cloudy day to help melt the snow since UV light waves transmit more energy than infrared (heat) waves.  I should have known better, said co-worker is dumber than a box of rocks.

It seems that we are just going to get a brief reprieve from the snowy weather.  Another substantial snowstorm is being predicted for this Wednesday.  Well, that’s fantastic.
