2010 Atlantic City Airshow

I went to the airshow yesterday. I posted some pictures on Flickr.   I think those pictures are the best ones of the 100 or so pictures I took.

The weather was OK.  There were a couple of spots of bright sunshine throughout the day, but most of the day was overcast.  At least it did not rain.

Here are a few of my favorite pictures (click to enlarge).

This one is from the Coast Guard Search & Rescue demonstration.  Always a highlight of the show!  The divers are being hoisted back up into the plane.

I thought I didn’t get any pictures of the stunt planes, so this was a surprise.  I realized that as I was trying to get pictures I was missing the stunts!

After the show was over and a lot of the people around us had left the beach, a couple of boys made this sand sculpture.

Of course, I did some umbrella scouting while I was down there.  I like this one, it’s my colors.  Plus, it has a wood pole.  Do you know how expensive the wood-pole umbrellas are?  At least $250!

I’ve spent this whole, nice day inside uploading pictures into my computer, organizing them, and uploading to Flickr.  I should get ready so I can do some gambling (more on that later).  I’ve got to earn my dinner!  But I think I;m going to grab some pictures of the shawls I’ve knit recently first, while the lighting is good!
